Cover Artist ROSALIE NADEAU, Orleans. A master plein air painter, Nadeau balances powerful color with classical form. Her paintings illustrate The Pastel Journal, Painting the Impressionist Landscape, The Pastel Artists Bible, Pastel School, Painting Shapes and Edges, CCMA’s permanent collection, and corporate and private collections nationwide. She earned prestigious signature memberships in Pastel Society of America, Maryland Pastel Society, Connecticut Pastel Society and Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod of which she is a founding member, as well as 21 in Truro and Cape Cod Plein Air Painters. She exhibits pastel paintings at Left Bank, Wellfleet, and oil paintings at Tree’s Place, Orleans, on Cape Cod, at Beauregard Fine Art, Rumson, NJ and Logan & Moore Gallery, Stony Creek, CT.
